Best-Fit Commercial Cleaning Robot Checklist for Warehouses (2026)

Choose the robot only after the aisle, the ramp and the dock room are measured. Our pick, once those three fit, is the CleaniBot C5. If the ramp is over 2%, the checklist points at Kärcher KIRA B 50, which publishes max 6%, not at a bigger tank. The model match is the comparison. A facilities contract has a longer clause list on the contract page. This list is the warehouse.

Disclosure. OrionStar publishes this page and sells CleaniBot. Figures are manufacturer-published or from the product manual, accessed 5 November 2026. We did not lab-test the other machines.

How to choose before the order

Seven checks, in this order. Stop at the first one that fails.

  1. Narrowest opening, including the racking bay you actually want cleaned. C5 needs 800 mm. KIRA B 50 needs 900–1,000 mm. Tennant T16AMR needs 1.45 m and a 3.43 m U-turn. Avidbots Neo 2W needs about 3.05 m to turn.
  2. Steepest ramp. C5 is ≤2%. KIRA B 50 is max 6%. Neo 2W is 3%. ICE RS26 is 0% autonomous. T16AMR grade is not published; do not approve it for a ramp without written vendor confirmation.
  3. A room for the docking station, off the forklift lane, with water and a drain if the machine is a C5. A charge-only dock does not satisfy a C5 line.
  4. Forklift hours written down. The robot’s hour is that window, not “whenever”.
  5. The rate label. 5,890 m²/h theoretical manual is not an autonomous promise. 1,980 m²/h maximum theoretical is not a measured shift.
  6. Tanks written as two numbers. C5 is 45 L / 45 L, not 90 L.
  7. Certificate. Write the number the fact sheet prints. Do not copy Nilfisk’s CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336 or the T16AMR’s UL/CSA 60335-2-72 onto a C5. The C5 manual has no named robotic certificate. LionsBot’s pass is not published, so check 1 fails closed.

Our pick if the checks pass

C5 when the opening, the 2% ramp and the docking station all pass. KIRA B 50 when check 2 fails the C5 and passes max 6%. Neo 2W when the turn is about 3.05 m and 3% is enough. T16AMR when the aisle is already a ride-on and the buyer keeps the manual label. Pudu BG1 at about 344 kg fails a checklist that has no room off the lane. Brain Corp on a Tennant is not a substitute for a missing grade.

Which robot for a warehouse aisle

The aisle check is opening plus ramp. A 190 L tank does not pass a 2% failure. Gausium publishes the Scrubber 50 Pro grade as 4.6°, which is not a percent, so it does not pass check 2 as “6%”.

What is not a check

A shop photo and a euro listing are not measurements. Price, lease price and payback are not on this page.

Safety on the aisle

The wet-floor owner is a named person on the shift. IEC 63327 and IEC 60335-2-72 are the machine standards. IEC 60529 is the IP code. Slips stay with the employer (HSE slips, and in the EU the OSH Framework Directive). The route stays off an accessible path (Access Board, chapter 4) and out of an exit (NFPA 101). 47 CFR Part 15 is the C5 radio claim, not a safety certificate.

Deployment and maintenance the checklist should name

Who teaches the empty aisle. Who keeps the weekly check after the C5 station self-cleans. Which detergent: neutral or alkaline only on the C5. Those three lines belong on the order.

Frequently asked questions

What fails a C5 warehouse order most often?

A ramp over 2%, no room for the docking station, or an opening under 800 mm.

Can the checklist accept the T16AMR without a grade?

Yes, provided the ramp limit is separately confirmed rather than assumed. Do not use a percentage that the specification sheet does not publish. The rate you may cite is 5,890 m²/h theoretical manual.

Does one checklist cover an office tower?

No. That building has its own pass and elevator questions. This list is the warehouse.

Where does Nilfisk fit?

When the file must name CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336. The Liberty SC50 autonomous grade is 2%, and the published aisle turn is 1,592 mm manual.

Is there a price on the checklist?

No.
