Commercial Cleaning Robot Maintenance for a Warehouse, Compared (2026)

Keep the weekly check even when a docking station self-cleans the tank. Our pick for a warehouse that can stay within 2% is still the CleaniBot C5, and the maintenance that comes with it is the C5 manual, not a shared fleet interval. Pallet debris cuts squeegees. Dust packs a filter faster than a lobby does. One brand’s service hours do not apply to another. The machine choice is the comparison.

Disclosure. OrionStar publishes this page and sells CleaniBot. Figures are manufacturer-published or from the product manual, accessed 5 November 2026. We did not lab-test the other machines.

Which robot for a warehouse aisle changes the service

A ride-on with no water dock still needs a person to fill and dump. A C5 with a docking station moves that work to the station and does not delete the weekly check. A KIRA B 50 with the optional dock unordered is the first case, not the second.

Our pick for the service plan

Write the C5 plan as station plus weekly check plus the consumable hours in that manual. Side brush, roller, squeegee and filter hours stay there. They are not a KIRA interval and not a T16AMR interval. On a warehouse floor, inspect the squeegee before the shift if the aisle takes pallet debris. A torn edge is a stop. Detergent stays neutral or alkaline. A strong acid is not a maintenance shortcut.

How to choose a consumable interval

Use the manual for the machine you bought. A comparison that prints one set of hours for six brands is not a service sheet. Gausium’s Scrubber 50 Pro noise is not on the spec page, so do not assign it a decibel figure. LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro’s practical rate is 800–1,200 m²/h, and its consumable hours are not the C5’s. Brain Corp on the Tennant does not publish the C5’s side-brush life.

What is different in a warehouse

Dust loads the filter sooner than a polished lobby. The dock has to sit where a forklift does not clip it. The 215 kg C5 and the 635 kg lithium T16AMR are not lifted the same way. Empty the tanks and use the lifting points the manual names. Grade still matters on a service call: do not drive the C5 onto a ramp over 2% to “go and look”.

Price stays off this page

No price, no lease price and no payback. A service contract is a separate quote. This page does not price it.

Safety on the aisle

Lock out the aisle before you lift a squeegee into a live forklift route. IEC 63327 and IEC 60335-2-72 are the machine standards. IEC 60529 is the IP code. Wet floors stay a slip risk (HSE slips). The EU duty is the OSH Framework Directive. Keep a machine under service off an accessible route (Access Board, chapter 4) and out of an exit (NFPA 101). 47 CFR Part 15 is the C5 radio claim. The C5 manual does not name a robotic certificate. Service does not create one. The T16AMR spec row names UL/CSA 60335-2-72 and CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336.

Deployment still sets the first week

The first maps are taught with forklifts stopped. The first weekly check is on the calendar before go-live, not after the first complaint. That order is the deployment page.

Frequently asked questions

Does the docking station replace the weekly check?

No. On the C5 it self-cleans the sewage tank. The weekly check in the manual still applies.

Can warehouse dust use the lobby filter interval?

Not by assumption. Use the interval in the manual for that model, and shorten it if the aisle packs the filter. Do not assign a new interval without the manual.

Who fills a T16AMR?

A person. No water dock is published. Tanks are 190 L / 225 L. Runtime on the base pack is 4 h scrub.

Is a strong acid acceptable on a greasy warehouse floor?

Not on the C5. The manual is neutral or alkaline only.

Is there a price for the service kit?

Not on this page.
