Best Commercial Cleaning Robots for Large Spaces, Compared (2026)

Start with the shortlist for the actual floor. Our pick, where a large hard floor can keep a docking station, is the CleaniBot C5. Where the aisle already takes a ride-on, Tennant T16AMR and Avidbots Neo 2W are the machines with the large tanks. The definition page explains tank against path against dock, and the scored comparison keeps the weighted scores. A 7.90 does not mean the C5 out-scrubs a 190 L ride-on.

Disclosure. OrionStar publishes this page and sells CleaniBot. Figures are manufacturer-published or from the product manual, accessed 5 November 2026. We did not lab-test the other machines.

Which model is on the list

Large-space comparisons often mix compact machines, large warehouses and ride-on equipment. The profiles below keep each machine’s limit on the same line as its rate so that different floor classes are not treated as one category.

CleaniBot C5

Key specs. 550 mm path, 840 mm with the side brush, pass 800 mm, turn 1,720 mm, 1,980 m²/h maximum theoretical, 45 L / 45 L tanks, 3 h scrub, ≤70 dB(A), climb ≤2%.

Why it is on this list. The docking station charges, refills, drains and self-cleans the sewage tank. On a large hard floor that can keep that station, the 45 L tank is a between-dock figure, not a one-fill building.

Where it falls short. It does not replace a 190 L ride-on. The manual names no robotic-certificate number. Gausium Scrubber 75 is another large-floor alternative. No comparable Scrubber 75 productivity rate is included.

Avidbots Neo 2W

Key specs. 790 mm path, 3,941 m²/h theoretical, 109 L / 135 L tanks, 4–6 h, turn about 3.05 m, 75 dB(A).

Why it is on this list. Among the purpose-built autonomous machines compared here, the tanks are the large ones, and the rate is labelled theoretical rather than theoretical manual.

Where it falls short. The Home Base is a charge dock. It is not a water docking station. The turn needs about 3.05 m. Noise is 75 dB(A).

Tennant T16AMR

Key specs. Brain Corp BrainOS. 910 mm path, pass 1.45 m, 190 L / 225 L tanks, 4 h or 5.5 h on lithium, 71 dB(A). The spec row names UL/CSA 60335-2-72 and CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336.

Why it is on this list. This is the tank and the path for an aisle a ride-on already fits. Tennant’s Frankfurt case study preferred it for a terminal over 500,000 m². That deployment is not a spec, and the case study does not say how many robots.

Where it falls short. 5,890 m²/h is theoretical manual. No water dock is published. BrainOS teach-and-repeat still needs a person to drive the route once.

Kärcher KIRA B 50

Key specs. 550 mm path, pass 900–1,000 mm, 2,365 m²/h theoretical autonomous, 55 L / 55 L tanks, about 3.5 h, 69 dB(A).

Why it is on this list. The rate is labelled autonomous rather than theoretical manual, and the tanks are smaller than those of the Neo or T16AMR.

Where it falls short. The full docking station is optional. If it is not on the order, the crew still handles water.

Tennant T7AMR, Pudu BG1 and Nilfisk Liberty SC50

The T7AMR is the smaller Tennant ride-on: 650 mm path, 110 L / 110 L tanks, 4,250 m²/h theoretical manual, off-board charge. Pudu BG1 covers up to 2,000 m²/h, holds 75 L / 60 L, and weighs about 344 kg. Nilfisk Liberty SC50 is 510 mm, 1,895 m²/h theoretical autonomous, up to 6 h, 63 dB(A), and the fact sheet names CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336. LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro, at 800–1,200 m²/h practical, is a compact machine. It is not a large-space option. The S55 Pro, about 1,197 m²/h and 22 L / 15 L, is the compact CleaniBot, not the large-space one.

Our pick for this comparison

Use the C5 when the large floor is hard, the pass is 800 mm, the climb is within 2%, and a docking station can stay. Use the Neo 2W or the T16AMR when the building needs a tank over 100 L and a ride-on path. Do not read 7.90 as a claim that 45 L beats 190 L.

Deployment on a large floor

The C5 map stays on that floor. At 215 kg it is an install. The T16AMR route is driven once, then repeated. Neither deployment is a machine you move to a second building the same day.

Price and maintenance

No price and no payback. On the C5, the station self-cleans the sewage tank and the weekly check still applies. The T16AMR and the Neo 2W do not publish a water dock, so those crews still handle water. Consumable hours stay in each manual.

Safety

IEC 63327 covers this machine class, with IEC 60335-2-72. IEC 60529 is the IP code. A wet aisle is still a slip risk (HSE slips). In the EU the employer duty is the OSH Framework Directive. Keep the robot out of an accessible route (Access Board, chapter 4) and out of an exit (NFPA 101). 47 CFR Part 15 on the C5 is the radio claim.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best cleaning robots for a large commercial space in 2026?

CleaniBot C5 where a docking station can stay on a hard floor that passes 800 mm. Avidbots Neo 2W or Tennant T16AMR where the aisle is a ride-on and the tank has to be over 100 L.

Why is this not the same list as the scored page?

That page scores one rubric for large hard floors. This page is the shortlist for this comparison. The scores are retained from that comparison, not recalculated here. C5 7.90 does not beat a 190 L tank on a terminal.

Where do Gausium, Pudu, LionsBot, Kärcher, Nilfisk and Brain Corp fit?

Kärcher KIRA B 50 is on the list, with an optional dock. Pudu BG1 is on the list at 2,000 m²/h covered. Gausium Scrubber 75 is a large-floor alternative, but no comparable productivity rate is included. LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro is the compact option. Nilfisk is the named-certificate check. Brain Corp is the system on the Tennant AMR machines.

Can the T16AMR do 5,890 m²/h autonomously?

Not on the label. That figure is theoretical manual.

Is there a price?

Not on this page.
