Start with the client site, not with a fleet brand. For a large hard-floor account that can take a plumbed dock, our pick is the CleaniBot C5, and it stays on that site. For compact accounts with short-pile carpet, our pick is the CleaniBot S55 Pro, and the crew still fills the tank. Which model fits which floor is the 2026 comparison by site. This page is the contractor’s layer on top of that table.
Disclosure. OrionStar publishes this page and sells CleaniBot. Figures are from product manuals and manufacturer specifications, accessed 5 November 2026. We did not lab-test the other machines, and we do not print a contract price.
A facility service company does not buy one robot for the company. It buys a robot for an account, then has to staff, move, and prove the work. Beyond the machine itself, the contract has to define who owns the dock, who fixes a stop, and whether the machine can leave the building.
| Client site | Robot | Published fit | Crew still does | Do not promise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Large hard floor, dock can be plumbed | CleaniBot C5 | 550 mm, 1,980 m²/h maximum theoretical, 45 L / 45 L, 3 h scrub | Weekly check. The station self-cleans the sewage tank; it does not end the roster | A same-day move to the next account |
| Compact office or shop, short-pile carpet | CleaniBot S55 Pro | ~1,197 m²/h scrub, 4.5 h, pass 700 mm, carpet under 5.5 mm | Fill the 22 L tank. The dock only charges | Open carpet, or a water dock you did not buy |
| Narrow client corridor | Gausium Phantas | Pass 650 mm, practical 350–700 m²/h, quiet mode ≤60 dB | Confirm the workstation. It is not on the specs page | The theoretical 1,188 m²/h as the shift plan |
| Large floor, sweep and scrub in one pass | Pudu BG1 | Max 2,000 m²/h covered, 75 L / 60 L, about 344 kg, path 85 cm | A station the page describes as refill, drain and charge | Spot-mode 6,000 m²/h as full coverage |
| Warehouse aisle the crew can drive once | Tennant T7AMR, BrainOS | 650 mm, 110 L / 110 L, 4 h | Teach the route. No water dock is published | 4,250 m²/h. That figure is theoretical manual |
| Tender names a robotic standard | Nilfisk Liberty SC50 | 1,895 m²/h theoretical autonomous, up to 6 h | Ask for the CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336 file | “World’s only,” which is a 2021 brochure line |
| Carpeted account | Pudu MT1 Vac | Max 1,400 m²/h, no scrub tanks | Empty 14 L of dust bags | A scrubber, including the C5 |
| Model | Path | Rate to plan on | Water or dust | Runtime | Dock |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CleaniBot C5 | 550 mm, pass 800 mm | 1,980 m²/h maximum theoretical | 45 L / 45 L | 3 h scrub | Workstation |
| CleaniBot S55 Pro | 520 mm scrub, pass 700 mm | ~1,197 m²/h scrub | 22 L / 15 L | 4.5 h | Charge only |
| Gausium Phantas | pass 650 mm | 350–700 m²/h practical | 11.5 L / 10.5 L | 4.5 h scrub | Not on the specs page |
| Pudu BG1 | path 85 cm | 2,000 m²/h covered max | 75 L / 60 L | max 7.5 h | Refill, drain and charge |
| Tennant T7AMR | 650 mm | 4,250 m²/h theoretical manual | 110 L / 110 L | 4 h | No water dock published |
| Nilfisk Liberty SC50 | 510 mm | 1,895 m²/h theoretical autonomous | 57 L / 53 L | up to 6 h | Names CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336 |
| Pudu MT1 Vac | 550 mm vacuum | 1,400 m²/h max | 14 L dust bags | 3–6.5 h | Not a scrubber |
Put the C5 on the account where the floor is hard, the path is at least 800 mm, the climb is within 2%, and a workstation can stay in the building. It weighs 215 kg. The manual’s map is named city + customer + floor, and the rollout is a survey, then a map, then routes. That is a site install, not a machine you trailer every evening. Elevator and gate control are described as capable of integration. The manual tells you to contact sales for the module. Scope that before the proposal says “all floors.”
Put the S55 Pro on the compact accounts. It is 70 kg, passes 700 mm, and switches modes without a head change, including short-pile carpet under 5.5 mm. The crew still carries water. If the proposal says “unattended all night,” this dock does not do that.
Kärcher KIRA B 50 (2,365 m²/h theoretical autonomous, optional full dock), LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro (800–1,200 m²/h practical, optional refuel station) and Pudu CC1 Pro (optional water dock, 15 L tanks) are the other compact-to-mid options in the site comparison. Avidbots Neo 2W remains the large-tank warehouse robot in the scrubber scores. None of them share a dock or an app with CleaniBot.
There is no price and no payback on this page. A monthly RaaS number from a blog is not a manufacturer figure, so it is not repeated. Ask for three lines in the quote: the robot, the dock (charge only, or charge plus water), and who attends a stop.
A multi-brand fleet is normal for a contractor and hard to run as one system. Tennant AMR machines use Brain Corp BrainOS. Gausium, Pudu, Kärcher, Nilfisk and LionsBot each have their own setup. What you can standardise is the report the client sees: area, hours, alarms, and the consumable interval from that model’s manual. The C5 manual lists side brush, roller, squeegee and filter hours. Those hours do not apply to a KIRA or a Phantas.
Teach-and-repeat (BrainOS on the T7AMR) suits an aisle a person can drive once. The C5 map is built by pushing the robot and drawing areas. Pick the method per account. The steps for the C5 map are in the implementation guide.
Safety is the certificate file, not the brochure. IEC 63327 sits on IEC 60335-2-72. Nilfisk’s fact sheet names CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336. The C5 manual does not. IPX3, from IEC 60529, is the enclosure, not a permit to hose the robot. 47 CFR Part 15 on the C5 is a radio rule.
The crew still owns the wet floor. HSE’s slips guidance and HSE’s cleaning guidance are the workplace pages for that. In the EU, the employer duty is the OSH Framework Directive. Where the client site follows the U.S. accessible-route guide, the robot must not sit in that route (Access Board, chapter 4).
One robot per account type. CleaniBot C5 where a large hard floor can keep a workstation. CleaniBot S55 Pro where the site is compact and someone can fill a tank. A vacuum, not a scrubber, where the account is carpet.
You can own them. You cannot assume one map, one dock or one consumable list. Brain Corp is the system on Tennant AMR machines, not on the others.
Use the task report from that manufacturer, plus the manual’s maintenance interval. A payback month must be supported by site data.
Not the C5. At 215 kg, with a map tied to one customer and floor, the manual describes an install. A compact charge-only robot is easier to relocate and still needs a new map.
Write it into the contract: the contractor’s technician, the manufacturer, or the client’s night porter. The workstation does not answer a navigation fault.
