For a home with hard floors, start with the Narwal Flow 2 (31,000 Pa, a roller mop that washes itself in 60°C water as it cleans) or the Roborock Saros 20 (36,000 Pa, the highest suction here, 79.8 mm tall). For windows, the job needs a different machine: the ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI. For a commercial hard floor measured in hundreds of square metres, stop reading about vacuums and look at CleaniBot C5 in our 2026 scrubber comparison. Picks with the limits of each model are in our 2026 picks; the weighted spec ranking is in the scored ranking.
Disclosure. OrionStar publishes this page. We sell commercial floor scrubbers (CleaniBot), not home robot vacuums. Every home-robot figure below is the manufacturer’s, accessed 5 November 2026. We did not lab-test them.
"Autonomous cleaning robot" covers at least five jobs, and the machines do not cross over. A robot vacuum cannot hold itself on glass. A window robot cannot clean a floor. A floor scrubber built for a warehouse is the wrong size for a flat. This page separates the home and window jobs and links to the commercial-floor comparison rather than forcing them into one ranking.
Figures as published by the manufacturer. Suction in Pa is each brand’s own number, not one shared test.
| Model | Suction (Pa) | Mop | Dock | Battery / runtime | Height (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Narwal Flow 2 | 31,000 Pa | Roller mop, self-washing at 60°C, 12 N | 100°C mop wash, 2.5 L bag, 120 days | 7,000 mAh, up to 275 min | 95 mm |
| Roborock Saros 20 | 36,000 Pa | Dual rotating mop, up to 13 N, 100°C wash | Auto-empty, 100°C mop wash, 55°C dry | 14.4 V, 6,400 mAh, up to 180 min | 79.8 mm |
| Dreame X50 Ultra | 20,000 Pa | Dual rotary mop, lifts 10.5 mm, removable | 80°C mop wash, hot-air dry, auto refill | 6,400 mAh, up to 220 min | 89 mm |
| eufy Omni S2 | 30,000 Pa | Roller mop, 15 N, self-washing, 60°C wash | All-in-one, 3 L / 2 L tanks | 21.6 V, 4,600 mAh, up to 260 min vacuum | 98 mm |
| Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone | 19,500 Pa | Roller mop, 200 rpm, self-washing | Bagless, 75°C mop wash; no auto water refill | 6,400 mAh, runtime not published | — |
| Roborock Qrevo Curv | 18,500 Pa | Dual spinning mop, 200 RPM | 75°C mop wash, auto-empty, auto refill | 6,400 mAh, 4 h charge | 103 mm |
| iRobot Roomba Plus 505 Combo | 7,000 Pa | Dual spinning mop pads, 200 RPM, no onboard tank | Auto-empty 75 days, heated pad drying | Runtime not published, 4.28 kg | 107 mm |
Two things the table hides. First, the X11’s station does not refill or drain itself: Ecovacs states "auto refill and drain: no", so someone carries water. Second, the Roomba has no onboard water tank at all; the dock wets the pad before and during the run, which is simpler and also limits how wet a mopping pass can be.
Highest suction. Saros 20 at 36,000 Pa, and it is the thinnest here at 79.8 mm, so it goes under more furniture. Its standard dock does not plumb into your water supply; the refill-and-drainage version is a separate variant. Roborock’s support page, not the product page, is where the 180 minutes comes from.
Best mop that maintains itself. Narwal Flow 2 and eufy Omni S2 both use a roller that is washed while it cleans, so the mop does not drag dirty water across the next room. Flow 2 adds a 100°C dock cycle and the longest stated runtime (275 min). S2 costs $1,599.99 on eufy’s US page and its 260 minutes is measured in vacuum-only quiet mode, not while mopping.
Best dock. Dreame X50 Ultra is the one whose station both washes at 80°C and refills from 4.5 L / 4.0 L tanks, and it climbs the most: 42 mm in one step, 60 mm over two.
The lower-priced flagship shape. Qrevo Curv gives you LiDAR navigation, a 75°C mop wash and automatic tank refilling at 18,500 Pa. It is the sensible buy when 36,000 Pa is more than your floors need.
The simplest. Roomba Plus 505 Combo publishes 7,000 Pa, the lowest here by a long way. iRobot’s "70x more suction" line compares it with old Roomba series, not with these machines. Buy it for the app and the pad system, not for suction.
The ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI sticks to glass. It holds itself on with about 3,300 Pa while it moves, sprays from an 80 ml onboard tank (about 55 m² per fill), plans its path with WIN-SLAM 5.0, and needs glass at least 3 mm thick. In fast mode Ecovacs rates it at about 1 minute 35 seconds per square metre. It runs on a cord back to its station, whose clean-water tank is 1.2 L. Nothing in the floor table above can do this job, and the WINBOT cannot clean a floor.
A robot vacuum’s dustbin is measured in millilitres and its runtime in one charge. A commercial scrubber carries tens of litres of water and cleans hundreds of square metres an hour. For medium and large hard floors that can take a plumbed workstation, our machine is the CleaniBot C5: 550 mm cleaning width, 1,980 m²/h theoretical maximum, a 45 L clean tank and a 45 L recovery tank, and a workstation that charges, refills, drains and rinses the recovery tank. For compact rooms and 700 mm doors, the CleaniBot S55 Pro. Both are specified in our 12-model scrubber comparison. The C5 climbs 2% at most, and its manual names no robotic-safety certificate number.
Only two makers publish a US price in this comparison: Narwal Flow 2 at $1,299.99 and eufy Omni S2 at $1,599.99. Both are liable to change; the other prices are not assumed. On navigation, trust a stated height and a stated threshold (79.8 mm and a 4.5 cm + 4.3 cm double step on the Saros 20; 42 mm and 60 mm climbs on the Dreame) over a sensor brand name the product page does not give. On maintenance, auto-empty and a hot mop wash remove the daily jobs; you still empty dirty water unless the dock is plumbed in.
Robot mowers and pool robots are real categories, but they are outside this comparison. We do not sell either and we do not spec them here. If that is the job, use a source that tested mowers or pool robots specifically.
Name the job first. Hard floors at home: Narwal Flow 2 or Roborock Saros 20. Windows: ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI. A commercial hard floor: CleaniBot C5, not a robot vacuum.
Manufacturers publish 7,000 to 36,000 Pa in this set, and they do not measure it the same way. Pa ranks them against each other only roughly. Hair and carpet depth matter more than the last 5,000 Pa.
The roller mops that wash themselves while cleaning (Narwal, eufy, Ecovacs) are the closest. Spinning pads still need the dock to wash them, and the Roomba has no water tank on the robot. None of them scrubs a commercial floor.
Auto-empty, hot-water mop washing and drying remove the daily jobs. You still empty the dirty-water tank unless the dock is plumbed in, which only some variants offer (Dreame’s tanks, Narwal’s optional plumbing, Roborock’s refill-and-drainage variant).
Only two makers publish a price in this comparison: Narwal Flow 2 at $1,299.99 and eufy Omni S2 at $1,599.99, both US and both liable to change. No other prices are assumed.
