Commercial Canteen Cleaning Robots Compared, Model by Model (2026)

Our pick on a closed dining room that passes 800 mm is still the CleaniBot C5, because the docking station refills between meals. The profiles below are the shortlist for this comparison. The comparison that uses them is the canteen page.

Disclosure. OrionStar publishes this page and sells CleaniBot. Each row is manufacturer-published or from the product manual, accessed 5 November 2026. We did not lab-test the other machines.

Which robot for a canteen aisle

A profile is one machine, one limit. The pick does not change because a tank is larger. A 190 L ride-on is not a chair aisle.

Our pick for this canteen

The C5 falls short of a 700 mm chair gap and of a ramp over 2%. It does not replace a kitchen degrease. Neutral or alkaline only. No named food-safety certificate.

CleaniBot C5

550 mm scrub path, 840 mm with the side brush, pass 800 mm, turn 1,720 mm, climb ≤2%, GVW 215 kg, vacuum 18.18 kPa, 45 L / 45 L tanks, 3 h scrub, ≤70 dB(A), 1,980 m²/h maximum theoretical. The docking station charges, refills, drains, and self-cleans the sewage tank. Floors in the manual: tile, epoxy, marble, emery, cement. IPX3. The weekly check remains.

CleaniBot S55 Pro

520 mm scrub path, about 1,197 m²/h scrub, 4.5 h, 22 L / 15 L tanks, pass 700 mm, 70 kg, 65 dB scrub, grade 6°. That 6° is a threshold, not the KIRA’s max 6%. The docking station charges only, so staff refill the tanks. Six modes. HEPA H13.

Pudu CC1 Pro

500 mm with the side brush, pass 700 mm, 15 L / 15 L tanks, 5 h scrub, under 70 dB, optional water docking station. All-covered productivity is 700 m²/h to 1,000 m²/h. The spot band of 1,500 m²/h to 3,000 m²/h is not full coverage. Treat any IEC/TUV certification as unverified until the manufacturer confirms it.

Gausium Phantas

Scrub path 330 mm, vacuum path 465 mm, pass 650 mm, grade 5°, tanks 11.5 L / 10.5 L, runtime 4.5 h, quiet ≤60 dB. Theoretical 1,188 m²/h scrub and 1,674 m²/h vacuum. Practical 350 m²/h to 700 m²/h. The specs page does not list a docking station. The corridor score 7.90 is not reused here.

Kärcher KIRA B 50

550 mm, 2,365 m²/h theoretical autonomous, about 3.5 h, 55 L / 55 L tanks, 69 dB(A), pass 900 mm to 1,000 mm, empty 228 kg, climb max 6%. The full docking station is optional. No KIRA B 200 productivity rate is included.

Gausium Scrubber 50 Pro

460 mm disc, 1,987 m²/h theoretical, 500 m²/h to 1,300 m²/h practical, 3 h, 30 L / 24 L tanks, pass 800 mm, grade 4.6°. Do not convert 4.6° to a percent. Noise is not on the spec page. An optional workstation is a separate line, not assumed.

Pudu BG1

550 mm path, 708 mm with the side brush, covered max 2,000 m²/h, not the 6,000 m²/h spot max, max 7.5 h, tanks 75 L / 60 L, trash 5 L, path 85 cm, about 344 kg. The station is described as refill, drain, and charge. Do not treat an “industry first” claim as a selection criterion.

Nilfisk Liberty SC50

510 mm, 1,895 m²/h theoretical autonomous, up to 6 h, 57 L / 53 L tanks, 63 dB(A), aisle turn 1,592 mm manual, autonomous grade 2%. No water docking station is published. The fact sheet names CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336. Do not treat a “world’s only” claim as a selection criterion.

LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro

366 mm scrub, 682 mm with the side brush, body 570 mm, 800 m²/h to 1,200 m²/h practical, up to 3 h, 21 L / 24 L tanks, 71 dB. Pass is not published. Optional refuel is not a plumbed docking station unless the quote says so.

Tennant T7AMR

650 mm, 4,250 m²/h theoretical manual, 110 L / 110 L tanks, 4 h, off-board charge, no water docking station, 70 dB, aisle navigation 1,219 mm. Brain Corp BrainOS is the autonomy layer Tennant lists. A T16AMR at 910 mm, pass 1,450 mm, and 190 L / 225 L tanks is a ride-on, not this aisle. Its spec row also names UL/CSA 60335-2-72 under UL File E358987. Its grade is not published.

How to choose

Read pass, turn, docking station, and detergent. Then read the rate label. Zones that use these profiles are on the zone page.

What is a published limit

The Phantas workstation, Scrubber 50 Pro noise, R3 pass, SC50 water dock and T16AMR grade are not published. For Phantas body size and productivity, use the current specifications page rather than the older brochure.

Price stays off this page

No price, no lease price, and no payback. Quote lines are on the quote page.

Safety for a food-service floor

IEC 63327, IEC 60335-2-72, and IEC 60529 are the standards named here. Wet tile: HSE slips. Catering work: HSE cleaning. Employer duty: OSH Framework Directive. Accessible route: Access Board, chapter 4. Exit: NFPA 101. Radio: 47 CFR Part 15. The C5 manual does not name a robotic certificate.

Deployment is not in the profile

Mapping, the meal gap, and where the docking station sits are on the deployment page.

Maintenance intervals stay with the manual

C5 consumables: side brush 400 h, roller 500 h, squeegee 500 h, HEPA 300 h. Do not copy those hours onto another brand. Detail is on the maintenance page.

Frequently asked questions

Which profile is the default canteen machine?

CleaniBot C5, when pass 800 mm, turn 1,720 mm, ramp ≤2%, and the docking station refills. Otherwise use the profile whose opening actually fits.

Why is Phantas not first if a building page scored it 7.90?

That rubric rewards a 650 mm pass and ≤60 dB. It gives the unpublished workstation a low dock score. A canteen that must refill water between meals does not inherit that winner.

What does the S55 Pro docking station not do?

It charges. It does not refill water. Staff fill the 22 L tank and empty the 15 L tank.

Where do Gausium, Pudu, LionsBot, Nilfisk, Tennant, Kärcher, and Brain Corp sit?

Each has a profile above. Kärcher is the 6% ramp. Pudu is CC1 Pro or BG1. Gausium is Phantas or Scrubber 50 Pro. LionsBot is the R3, pass not published. Nilfisk is the named certificate and no published water dock. Tennant T7AMR is the wide aisle. Brain Corp is on that Tennant machine.

Is a euro price from a dealer page used here?

No. No payback month and no lease price.
