Best Commercial Cleaning Robot by Canteen Zone (2026)

Our pick by zone: CleaniBot C5 on the closed dining room when pass is 800 mm and a docking station refills. CleaniBot S55 Pro or Pudu CC1 Pro in a 700 mm seating aisle. Staff keep the kitchen. Stop at the first check that fails.

Disclosure. OrionStar publishes this page and sells CleaniBot. Zone limits use the product manual and manufacturer-published sheets, accessed 5 November 2026. We did not walk a cafeteria for this page.

Which robot for a canteen zone

The same building can need two machines, or one machine and a mop in the servery. The shortlist is the comparison. Profiles are the model page.

Our pick for this floor

Run the C5 on open tile, epoxy, marble, emery, or cement after the chairs are free, at 1,980 m²/h maximum theoretical, GVW 215 kg, vacuum 18.18 kPa, side path 840 mm. A food-court open hard floor uses the same rule as a mall. It is not a kitchen.

CleaniBot C5

Dining hall only, when the turn is 1,720 mm. Climb ≤2%. Neutral or alkaline detergent. No named food-safety certificate.

Pudu CC1 Pro

700 mm seating aisles. All-covered rate 700 m²/h to 1,000 m²/h. Tanks 15 L / 15 L. 5 h scrub. Do not quote 1,500 m²/h to 3,000 m²/h as coverage.

Kärcher KIRA B 50

The ramp zone only. Empty mass 228 kg. Rate 2,365 m²/h theoretical autonomous. A flat dining room does not need max 6%.

How to choose

Stop at the first failure.

  1. Opening. Under 700 mm, no machine on this list. At 700 mm, S55 Pro (70 kg, 22 L / 15 L tanks, 4.5 h, grade 6°) or CC1 Pro. At 800 mm, C5. At 900 mm to 1,000 mm the KIRA fits, and so does a smaller machine.
  2. Turn. C5 needs 1,720 mm. A straight aisle can still fail between tables.
  3. Meal gap versus 3 h on the C5, 4.5 h on the S55 Pro, 5 h on the CC1 Pro.
  4. Docking station. C5 needs water and a drain. Charge-only is a different daily job.
  5. Detergent. Neutral or alkaline on the C5. Strong acid fails the zone.
  6. Ramp. Over 2%, C5 stops. KIRA’s published max is 6%. S55 Pro’s 6° is not that percent. Scrubber 50 Pro’s 4.6° is not converted.

What is not a robot zone

The servery line, the pot wash, the grease trap, and a wet drain. IPX3 on the C5 is not a hose. LionsBot R3 pass is not published, so it does not win a tight aisle on a missing number: body 570 mm, 366 mm scrub, 682 mm with the side brush, 800 m²/h to 1,200 m²/h practical, 21 L / 24 L tanks, up to 3 h, 71 dB. Nilfisk Liberty SC50 can cover a long flat hall at up to 6 h, 510 mm, 57 L / 53 L tanks, 63 dB(A), 1,895 m²/h theoretical autonomous, autonomous grade 2%, aisle turn 1,592 mm manual, and no published water docking station. Pudu BG1 is the large hall at path 85 cm, about 344 kg, covered max 2,000 m²/h, tanks 75 L / 60 L, max 7.5 h, not the 6,000 m²/h spot figure. Gausium Scrubber 50 Pro is pass 800 mm, 460 mm, 30 L / 24 L tanks, 3 h, 1,987 m²/h theoretical, 500 m²/h to 1,300 m²/h practical, grade 4.6°, noise not published. A Tennant T16AMR at pass 1,450 mm and 190 L / 225 L tanks is a warehouse machine. Phantas practical coverage is 350 m²/h to 700 m²/h.

Price stays off this page

No price, no lease price, and no payback by zone. The quote page lists the lines.

Safety by zone

A wet dining room is a slip risk (HSE slips). Catering floors stay a workplace (HSE cleaning). IEC 63327, IEC 60335-2-72, and IEC 60529 are the machine-class references. Employer duty: OSH Framework Directive. Do not park on an accessible route (Access Board, chapter 4) or in an exit (NFPA 101). 47 CFR Part 15 is the C5 radio claim. CSA/ANSI C22.2 No. 336 is a Nilfisk fact-sheet line, not a canteen hygiene certificate. The C5 manual does not name one.

Deployment of each zone

Map the dining room while it is empty. The corridor is a second route if the door is shut at lunch. The mezzanine is another map. Steps are on the deployment page.

Maintenance differs by zone

Dining-room grease loads the squeegee. The C5 intervals stay 400 h, 500 h, and 300 h. The station’s self-clean does not cancel the weekly check. Detail is the maintenance page.

Frequently asked questions

Which zone should be automated first?

The closed dining hall, if it passes 800 mm and has a docking station. Do not start in the kitchen.

Can the robot run during lunch?

The noise figures are 65 dB to 70 dB(A). This page treats that as a reason to wait until the room is empty. It does not claim a silent service.

What about a food court inside a mall?

Open hard floor only, same detergent limit, staff on the servery. The mall page is linked above. This zone page does not add a mall score.

Where do Gausium, Pudu, LionsBot, Nilfisk, Tennant, Kärcher, and Brain Corp go?

Phantas on the quiet corridor, with no specs-page docking station. CC1 Pro or BG1 for Pudu, by aisle width. LionsBot only if you accept an unpublished pass. Nilfisk on a long flat hall with staff refill. Tennant T7AMR on a 1,219 mm factory-canteen aisle, with Brain Corp. Kärcher on the ramp. T16AMR does not go between tables.

Is there a price per zone?

No. No payback and no lease price.
